After 100 years of sword and gun making, Wilkinson Sword diversify into the first of many razor innovations, producing the 'Pall Mall' safety razor.

The 'Empire' razor captures the market as men attach greater importance to a well groomed appearance.
- 1962
- The introduction of PTFE coated blades, a non-stick technology, makes shaving even safer, more comfortable and smoother.
- 1971
- The 'Bonded System T70' is the first safety blade whereby the blade is fixed in plastic housing.
- 1978
- 'Wilkinson II' is launched and becomes the first twin blade system from Wilkinson Sword.
- 1988
- 'Kompakt Design' is launched. Emphasis is on the aesthetics of the grip. and as a result wins the 'Design Council Award'.
- 1992
- Wilkinson Sword launches a totally new design of product: 'The Protector'. An ergonomic, elegant razor that becomes internationally renowned.
- 1994
- Wilkinson Sword introduces its first system razor for women: 'Lady Protector'. The design is specifically tailored to meet feminine requirements.
- 1996
- The 'FX Razor' is designed. High-tech manufacturing technology enables Wilkinson Sword to launch the twin blade designed for extraordinary comfort.
- 2000
- The Protector 3D Diamond is born.
- 2003
- The first 4 blade Men's razor on the market: Quattro.
- 2004
- The first 3 in 1 razor that lathers shaves and moisturises in one easy step for ultimate convenience: Intuition. Just add water.
- 2007
- The first 4 blade Men’s razor with power right in the head where it matters: Quattro Titanium Energy. New Quattro Titanium with edging blade also developed to enable boys to design their own unique look.
- 2008
- The first 4 blade disposable razor: Quattro Titanium and Quattro For Women. Using the high performance technology of Wilkinson Sword systems, in a convenient disposable format.
- 2008
- The first all in one high performance system razor with trimmer launches: Precision
